This is the first recording of Geesin sr. and a difficult album to label. Could be categorised as experimental. The bizarre sounds, strange speeches resembling a British Captain Beefheart, frequent change in speed and macabre, yet sometimes happier and upbeat, piano pieces, along with chirpy outbursts from other instruments just add to the uniqueness of this album, making it very pleasurable to listen to and hard to forget.

Lovingly re-issued, this is another gem from the catalogue of seminal library records label KPM. Ron Geesin's futuristic 19 track odyssey 'Electrosound' was originally issued in 1972 and has been fully remastered by the man himself. Pressed onto striking blue and white marbled vinyl and pressed up in an edition of 500 copies in gatefold sleeve. Not a very good pressing though, some crackling here & there....

XP Hardtek, drum breakz & dub effects. 1-Speedbike is the solo project from the drummer of Godspeed You Black Emporor. The title is Dutch, and not your most elegant words. . . Maybe that's why he chose them.

Dark, ritualistic and invocative minimal electronica. After The Snow works within the old industrial and new wave tradition. His sound will remind you of early minimal electronic acts. Made for the world of today.

Lee Ranaldo, Christian Marclay, Günter Müller and David Watson. What a company! Most of these people don't need further explanation, maybe just say that David Watson from New Zealand plays bagpipes and guitar, and that Swiss musician Günter Müller's subtle, spare, and meditative playing turns sound into liquid textures. Three sides of bubbling audio biosphere and a fourth-side etching by Lee Ranaldo, made specially for the project. Recorded in the Echo Canyon Studio on Murray Street in downtown New York, mixed and edited by Jim O’Rourke. The sleeve is brilliant, by the way, with exclusive art work by Leah Singer.
