On its original release in 1982, Double Vision Presents Cabaret Voltaire was one of the first independent long form videos ever made and features fourteen visual representations of Cabaret Voltaire tracks including 'Nag Nag Nag', 'Obsession' and 'Diskono'. The communications company Double Vision was founded by Cabaret Voltaire and Paul Smith in 1982, initially as a vehicle for this particular release but also with a view to releasing affordable music based video for a fraction of the price. This DVD release is purposely true to the quality and sound reproduction of the original release.

Formed in 1979 by 3 artists from the Beaux-Arts of Caen: Jean-Luc
André, Sylvie Martineau-Fée, Jean-Philippe Fée. DDAA was a seminal player in the independent experimental, industrial 80s French
scene known for their highly artistic, peculiar and thoughtful
vision. 'Action and Japanese Demonstration' is a re-release from an
album originally released in 1982, their so-called exotic period
1979-1983.

Der Plan ranks still among the style-forming groups of the Berlin 1980's ""true"" new wave. Die Letzte Rache is a re-release of the highly acclaimed album of the fabulous 3 from 1984 as the film music of the obscure neo""caligaric"" black and white cultfilm ""Die letzte Rache"". To many, this was the most interesting, most unique, most versatile and most experimental work of Der Plan. A dazzling experience of dark athmospheric score - fragments, quirky melodies and catchy pop tunes. When performing live they couple their music with experimental visual performance as well.

The german music journalists voted for 'Geri Reig' as one of the most important 50 records of the last century. Indeed Der Plan ranks still among the style-forming groups of the ""true"" new German wave and its handling of electronic music instruments inspired groups world-wide. For all the collectors: The first two albums of Der Plan are availible again with some bonustracks. A milestone in the German Underground-Pop. A Must for all Lo-Tec-fans.
