This is the first recording of Geesin sr. and a difficult album to label. Could be categorised as experimental. The bizarre sounds, strange speeches resembling a British Captain Beefheart, frequent change in speed and macabre, yet sometimes happier and upbeat, piano pieces, along with chirpy outbursts from other instruments just add to the uniqueness of this album, making it very pleasurable to listen to and hard to forget.

Lovingly re-issued, this is another gem from the catalogue of seminal library records label KPM. Ron Geesin's futuristic 19 track odyssey 'Electrosound' was originally issued in 1972 and has been fully remastered by the man himself. Pressed onto striking blue and white marbled vinyl and pressed up in an edition of 500 copies in gatefold sleeve. Not a very good pressing though, some crackling here & there....

Sound artists Adam and Jonathan Bohman, Lukas Simonis and Anne La Berge formed the band APRICOT MY LADY in 2003. Since then they played some rare performances and recorded a lot of material. This CD ‘Newly Refurbished and Tussock Moth’ is only the top of that iceberg! The particular songs on this CD are chosen because they seem to form a sort of ’song cycle’ with an implicit logic and all that. They are using found objects, text, voice, samples, filters, mixers, pedals, violins, guitars and flutes to make the music they make. It might be (un)interesting to know whether this music is supposed to be ‘improvised’ or ‘composed’ or ‘heavily processed’ or even ’spontaneously erected’. It’s all that and less, or none of that and more.

"Uneasy Flowers" is the second album by Autistic Daughters, the intercontinental trio of Dean Roberts (guitar, vocals), Martin Brandlmayr (percussion, computer) and Werner Dafeldecker (guitar, bass). It is also the fourth in a series of records in which Roberts, having begun in more abstract territory in New Zealand's mid-1990s 'free noise' ferment, has embraced song, lyric and voice as vessels for topographic and psychoanalytic tracings of the impacts of territory and nomadism on the subject.
