Bear Bones Lay Low - Djid Hums
Debut LP of the psych noise power drone project of Ernesto Gonzalez, an 18 year old Venezuelan kid who moved to Belgium with his family three years ago. Thick layers of Hototogisu-like guitar drones interfere with endless tape loops and warm washes of analogue jungle color tone to work up to an overwhelming fuzz guitar climax, leaving listeners helpless, ecstatic, puzzled and bemused.

Allan Bryant - Space Guitars
The American new music and avant-garde composer Allan Bryant began his career during the 1960s in the Rome-based ensemble Musica Elettronica Viva alongside Alvin Curran and Frederic Rzewski. This production for C.R.I. is an astonishing study of the electric guitar taken out of the rock context and used as a source generator of rich and complex harmonic music. Similarities to Glenn Branca, Rhys Chatham, and Phill Niblock's music stem from their shared infatuations with the power of the amplified six-string and their will to exploit the less frequently explored sonic palette of the instrument, which knows no limits. Space Guitars is a drone-based work of astonishing and powerful proportions that, while shamefully overlooked in the gamut of avant-garde music, is clearly an influence on Sonic Youth and Elliott Sharp's textured soundscapes.

Dan Fröberg - The Existence of Do-Ti-La-So-Fa-Mi-Re-Do Is Everything!
A work for church organ, recorded in Göteborg and initially played by organist Mikael Wahlin, and thereafter constructed into a 48 minutes long composition by Swedish composer Fröberg.

'Find a sound and bend it and extend it and listen to how it travels along the fields and over and above the golden-glowing dog and in through the door and out through the hole in the ground and around and around and expanding into a choir and the leaves are rattling and the insects are chanting and the rain is raining and the grass is singing and listen to how everything grows and grows and the clouds are drumming and the shadows are humming and the woman in the sparkingly coloured dress is singing "We´ll never be the same again" and a message in the speakers in a distant elevator announces "Ladies and Gentlemen" and click and noisy feedback and "Sorry for falling dow..." and CLICK again and more feedback and a whisper is calling and out through the window and over a lake and echoes of long lost voices and thorugh a gate and through a gate and crackle and thud and remembrances and silence and everything is tuned and again and again and again and, and, and.. the existence of Do-Ti-La-So-Fa-Mi-Re-Do is everything!' Charles Hayward - Switch on War
First performed in Club Integral, London, at the height of the 1st Gulf War. Harsh, brutal response to the media coverage & its grotesque anti-music aesthetic ruled by the overloaded sound world of Space Invaders. Abrasive organ sounds, metallic noises.

Medium: CD
Music, Dark Ambient , Drone
Price: € 12.00

Het Fukking Licht - Kutplaneet
'... A wild and raucous affair. In three long pieces these improvisers give us a fistful of their take on noise, drone, shamanistic ritualism and short-circuited electro-acoustics. While the surface of these recordings is weather-beaten and distorted, somewhere deep down there is a glowing core of primal passion. This is music in which the love for sound rules above all else.' (label desription).  Nicely designed sleeve for the CD-R (only 29 copies made).
Label: Narrominded / NM038
Medium: CD-R
Music, Noise , Drone
Price: € 7.00
