First edition by deli plain who are delicated to making NEOIST material available to the world again. This was originally a cassette with amazing megaphone performances by Amen! a.k.a. Monty Cantsin, published by Widemouth Tapes in 1993. Listening to it today, it's absolutely great stuff, radical but entertaining (yeah!).

deli plain this time aroused by Francis Picabia's classic avantgarde piece La Nourrice Americaine, a piano piece first performed at a Dada soiree in 1920 and consisting of only three infinitely repeated notes. More radical than the "Vexations" of Picabia's close friend Erik Satie, it predates La Monte Young and Terry Riley by forty years! deli plain interpreted the piece anew in 2008 using a sine wave of alternatingly 69.30 / 87.31 / 77.78 / 0 Hz at 60 bpm. 56 minutes of electronic sweet vexation.

Video made by Graf Haufen in 1987, now available again on DVD. Pete Horobin (UK), organiser of several NEOIST Apartment Festivals in the eighties, initiates the viewer in his huge archive, where we learn every detail and background of the NEOIST actions he was involved in. Horobin kept a minutely detailed action diary each day and the way he systematically leads you through it is almost like hypnosis - you cannot but follow his instructions.

Lieutenant Murnau was a ghost musical group active 1980 until 1984. 'Meet Lt. Murnau' was a tape where they abused and mixed Beatles and Residents records. Also soundtracks of F.W. Murnau's films and music provided by other groups were used. Lt. Murnau played with identity and imagery. They encouraged others to make Lt. Murnau music and become Lt. Murnau too. This tape is still amazing and brings to mind John Oswald's plunderphonics. Now generously made available again by kind permission of Lt. Murnau.

Great volume of material from the NEOISM archives, made available again by the highly productive deli plain. Though they never wanted to be called a movement, there was a timespan where we can speak of a rise and fall of NEOISM and a post-kind-of-period where it still means something to people all over the world. At the least it rings a bell to those curious enough. This 6 CD-box contains recordings originally on cassette tapes, from a series of Apartment Festivals in Italy (1985), Paris & Amsterdam (1986). Different Monty Cantsin sent in their musical products. They were then mixed together by Monty Cantsin.
